At Assertive Kids Foundation, our core mission is to empower individuals and local communities. The work we do matters, and is not a duplication of other nonprofits’ work. Our niche programs are diverse and have in common the motivation to provide tangible, real help, in each and every way we can.
By focusing on the direct needs of our local neighbors and families, we create a stronger, more connected community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. Our goal is to help us all thrive, together! By supporting vital research studies, we help both Health Professionals, and the public, with new data that sheds a light on important health issues.
Communities are the core of our mission. By embracing a holistic view, we care for both our citizens and the local ecology that sustains our communities. We operate through a multi-faceted approach to helping the people of our Staten Island communities. By centering the human experience in every program, we create sustainable pathways for local growth and resilience.
