Several local charities and food pantries accept donations of used clothing, and provide it for free to local families. Two such organizations that we have donated adult clothing to include the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the United Church of Praise.
United Church of Praise Church located in Stapleton Heights has a Dress To Impress program for their members and the local community. Several bags of ladies clothing, mostly Juniors sizes, were provided to the church for this program, along with a large number of ladies shoes suitable for work. This program serves the community, by providing free clothing for people to go on interviews and to get started working again, if they have been unemployed for some time.
